Greg Buchanan

Greg is a dedicated Upper Cervical Patient. Prior to his head injury he began his career with Pirelli-Ericsson Cables and was responsible for software development, maintenance of a diverse range of electronic equipment and design of electrical and telecommunications cables.

Early in his working life he became involved in computer technology, hardware and software and has worked in the information technology industry for the over 30 years.

Most recently he was Director for Microsoft and was responsible for its technical services strategy across the Asia Pacific region. He has negotiated large services contracts, and managed a team of over 100 personnel. He established a centralized support centre for the Asia Pacific region which was considered by Microsoft to be of the highest quality and responsiveness. Prior to working for Microsoft, Greg was a Director at Apple Computer and in that time was responsible for technical services and retail computer sales/marketing. In the late 1970s he worked for Texas Instruments in their minicomputer division as a Technical Specialist.

Greg has managed multi-million dollar profit centers and has owned, operated and consulted to small businesses. He is a great lover of films, especially heroic fantasy and co-founded an independent film company, New Realms Films www.newrealmsfilms.com.au .

Following his life changing head injury in 1997 he discovered what he believes to be a root cause of most human illnesses and has developed a website www.upcspine.com which promotes the benefits of Upper Cervical Chiropractic, a profession which Greg describes as being ‘sent from heaven!’ His tireless work has helped thousands of sufferers around the World. Greg appeared on the Channel 9 Footy Show kicking off a fund raising event involving NRL football players which helped to raise over $600,000 for Westmead Children’s Hospital to purchase a Confocal Microscope.

He has degrees in electrical engineering, finance, and business and some 5 years after being told by doctors that his health problems at the time were due to age (43!), achieved a Black Belt in Shotokan karate.

Greg is dedicated to spreading the word about the benefits of Upper Cervical Care. His work with the International Upper Cervical Patient Advocates Association is another way he can do this.

His latest effort toward educating the world about the science of Upper Cervical Care was to fund “The Power of Upper Cervical” movie. He is currently gathering funds for a larger movie about Upper Cervical and its historical roots.
